Rae WilleyGeneral Manager,
Cellar & Events Manager

Rae is easily our favorite rugby star on the management team, spending her days off throwing shoulders in a grassy arena of lady juggernauts. When she’s not pitchin’ the pigskin, Rae is responsible for staffing and managing service in RF and BC, booking events in our Wine Cellar and buyouts for our community partners, and building policy to keep the front and back communicating (with nice words).
Stacey HinesBack of House Manager

supply [at] BCRFL [.] com
Working with local food is a labor of love, but a labor nonetheless. We work with about 30 local or regional producers (75% of our products by dollar in 2012), and the effort requires immense planning and coordination. Stacey holds our supply chain together, ensuring fresh food for guests and an organized, efficient inventory flow. This is her second time in our employ–She started here once in 1997 and returned to us (FOR GOOD) in 2010.
Jami GottPastry Chef

Jami’s worked here since 2006, and, in our humble opinion, we’ve had the best desserts in town ever since. Chances are that if you’ve eaten something sweet in our restaurants, you’ve thought the same thing. Jami is in charge of the dessert menu, all baked goods, and candied garnish and liquor infusions for the bar. (How many bars in town infuse their flavored spirits under the watchful care of a world-class pastry CHAMPION?! The answer is one.)
Casey TzschikovWine Buyer and RF Bar Geek

beverage [at] BCRFL [.] com
Having cut his teeth behind Red Feather’s brunch bar (also known as the Arkham of downtown bartender career paths), Casey is perhaps best known for his cartoon-cameo, emblazoned shamelessly on our breakfast menu. For his job, though, Casey executes and assists in developing the wine and cocktail programs in our restaurants, and spends half his week working behind Red Feather bar. He is dedicated, hard-working, and all-around lovable, and his cocktailian prowess is only matched in its awesome wonder by his collection of forest wildlife themed cowl neck sweaters. Just take it in, people.
Dave KrickPartner & Founder

dmkrick [at] BCRFL [.] com
Dave opened Bittercreek in 1995, and has since been involved in or has opened a fist full of other iconic Boise establishments of revelry. He’s currently in the process of completing several over-qualifications in his quest to learn how to make booze, hoping to fulfill Bittercreek’s brand promise of “Good Beer” with an in-house brand. In the restaurant, Dave oversees and advises the beverage buyers, as also contributes to long-range strategic planning (fancy business talk for playing some mixed role of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda). While you may know Dave as that guy in the black baseball cap walking down 8th Street, most of Boise’s classic institutions know Dave as a thought-leader, tastemaker, and downright visionary. That’s how we see him, anyway.
Kevin KelpePartner & Creative Manager

kevkelpe [at] BCRFL [.] com
If Dave is the Visionary in our business, and he is, Kevin is the Executioner. Err… As in, he helps us execute tasks, make progress on our goals, grow the business, and meet the unrelenting demands of our community. So, Kevin manages all of our managers. As his primary role, Kevin is our company’s creative leader, keeping our brand expression on-message by producing the art, copy, and marketing infrastructure that tells the world outside who we are. He closely and directly manages the Red Feather cocktail program, culinary development, special events, and HR processes.

Jami keeps the checkbook balanced, yes, but gets most of the credit for keeping our business healthy. Having completed an unmatched tenure of her own as a restaurant manager, Jami also advises the team about operations, human resources, and feeding vegetarians (since she is one)…
